Follow the instructions and comment on the following:

1.- Summarize the proposals (3 at least) that every candidate to the presidency of Chile has done in terms of education. Also, mention the economical source where the candidate is getting the Money for financing his proposals. You have to provide the source of your information.

Eduardo Frei Ruiz-Tagle, his proposal about terms of education is change quality of the teachers of public and private schools, with the best formation in knowledge and values so the PSU´s pointing will augment to enter in the public and private universities to that the people that enter will be able to the best vocation. Other proposal is criticise academic programme and augment the wages of the teachers. (www.efrei.cl)

Abour Sebastián Piñera, his proposal is reward to the best schools with furniture or culture go out. Other propasal is put in the schools younger directors. To the teachers will have a evaluation for each three years passed. And the last proposal is in the public education will be over responsability of the mayors. Well about his financing to proposal is for himself that pay his proposals. (www.pinera2010.cl)

Marco Ominami, proposal is augment wages to the teachers and reduce the work´s hours, reduce the quantity of students in a classroom and realice a the best retirement to the teachers. Marco Ominami get the money across of donations in banks (account current).(www.marco2010.cl)

2.- Give your own opinion about 2 of the proposals on each candidate. Be clear and concise. Support your ideas with clear and valid sources.

Well, about the Eduardo Frei Ruiz-Tagle, I think that your proposal is better than other people because he wants a solution more real and this is a good begin to have in the future the best teachers with a selection more carefully.

About Sebastián Piñera, I think that his proposal is not much real because the solution has to from the students of pedagogy and change the PSU´s pointing to enter at university and change academic programme. I belive that the change has to be of it base.

3.- Add your own proposals to improve the quality of Chilean education. Consider the financial support as well.

I think that to improve the quality of Chilean educatio have to begin for the origen that are the students of pedogogy, first change academic programme for example add a psicology test to future students plus PSU, so worry about public school where the director will be able to give his own valuation about behaviour of the teachers to have in school a profesional staff.

Workshop nª1 "Back to school"!!!

a. Address: San Marino no.1069
b. Location: Quilpué.
c. Approximate number of students: 300 students app.
d. Approximate number of teachers:30 teachers app.
e. Number of classrooms: 15 classrooms.
f. Use of space:The classroms are smale, because there are a lot of students,about 40 students for course, the gymnasium is big and library too. there three garden and the colour is clear.
2. How long does it take you to get there?It`s about 15 or 20 minuts.
3. Does your school have a particular characteristic that makes it different?Well, in this school have been many family so I know as this school and any teachers, becouse I like that school and when I was child always wanted study there.
4. How does it feel to be back to school?Well, I feel very happy because can be there and each experience I remember my childhood.

October 02 th , 2009

Today was a great day, because the students were that show their actuation. First I was with 4°C, this was in the first hour and when I got there any children were with their costume of their personages. We went to salon of school, they were very well prepared inclusive they brought things to adorned the scene.
The first group, were good prepared with their costumes and good scene, this group were only girls and the actuation was about dolls that were inside of gift box.
The second group, were only boys, they prepared their scene with chairs, a table, drink, any beers, globes and serpentines, this story was about of avoid the drugs and the alcohol because for this you can die. I like the messenge, this was very intresting.
The third group of only girls, this actuation was more simple, but the students showed enffrontery and a good expresion of their body.
The fourth group, their actuation was very funny, organised and they students knew when had to talk. This group was form for girls and boys. I enjoyed this actuation.
The fifth group of only two girls, presented a story about of the friendship and the solidarity. This messenge was very beautiful.
The sixth group, only boys, this story was about soldiers that fighted for the independence of our country.
In general, the actuations were very well, the students being children, organised a good work.
After, continued the actuations of course 4°B, in the first group their actuation was about Michael Jackson, was a short story but with a goog ideas and dialogue.
The second group, the story was about the detectives, their costumes were beautiful, but these boys forgot their dialogues, they were nervous.
The third group, the boys did a pirates´presentation, but they sometime forgot their dialogues. They were a good costumes and adorned their scene.
The fourth group of only boys, their story was about the gangsters, they had gums and were as true gangsters. Their story was creative and funny.
The fifth group, formed for girls, their costumes were typical clothes, they forgot the dialogue a lot of times, they weren´t well prepared.
The sixth group, formed for two girls, their actuation was simple, but a beautiful actuation, their story was about of children with “cancer”, where the messenge was about the solidarity with these ill people. For me was emotional, this actuation was simple and with a great messenge.
The seventh group, formed for girls, their story was about princesses, but they didn´t show their face and told very lowly.
The eighth and the last group, formed for girls, this actuation was the best, this story was about animals and a tree that was alone. It was beautiful and emotional, they were very well prepared.

I think that the children have a lot of creation and while I can to see them, they surprised me. They are youngers but with great creation and expresion.

October 01 th, 2009

In the first hour, the students work with their books analising a dialogue as example to their actuation, they weren´t nervous. About the teachers are more friendly with me, now I feel more confortable than before, this good and I know that this experience never forget and will a have a great time.
About the class was intresting, the children were more quiet and the teacher, Milsa, I saw her that wasn´t worried for my presence, this is important for me, because I want to have a natural vision of the class.

September 25th, 2009

The children are asking me with more confidence, when I help to them I feel very well and this I enjoy a lot. The students of 4°C are more loving and always remember my name than the students of 4°B, but the students of 4°C are more disquiet that the students of 4°B. In both courses there are very intelligent children, they are nine years old and know many things that I remember before the children didn´t have many information, other point is that the children now can express their thoughts freely, I remember when I was child we couldn´t talk with adults and we were more timid. Now, the children do good questions and good answer.
Today, the students of 4°C and 4°B prepared any group to create a story and expose it in the theatre of school to next week. The students were exited and happies for do their presentation.

September 24th, 2009

Today I was with the course 4°C, the children had to that work in their books, had to read a text, asked any questions of same book and vocabulary. My guide, miss Milsa, is mathematic theacher, but she teachs language so I saw any mistake about the verbs and nouns, for example, in the text was the word “education” where the children had to find the verbs and miss Milsa told that this word is a verb and not a noun, this is a mistake because “education” is a noun and “educate” is a verb. I think that this is great mistake because she not studyed language and the children aren´t learning correctly. For me was a great surprise of know that she isn´t teacher´s language because it is a good school, and the children in the future have excelent result, I have cousins that studyed there and my dear daughter study there too.

September 17th, 2009

Today we celebrated the native country partys so the activities were in the morning to all the school, the students and the teachers were with their typical costume. Every the courses had to participe with any chilean dance, the dances were beautiful and the children were happy and the teacher danced too, the gymnasium was adorned. The activities continued about two hours, I had to look after the children the 3°B and maintain the order during the presentations of the course. After of theses activities every courses had a living together with typical meal of our country. I enjoyed of the activities because the children presented beautiful dances and with beautiful costumes. I saw dedication for the teachers and of the children that participated and the other students were very quiet seeing and enjoying the dances with respect.

September 11th, 2009

Today I was in the 4°C and 4°B, the activities were about analisys of sentences, where the children needed of my help and can to help I am happy. Any students are very loving with me, they remember my name, ask me when come back again, they hug me and I feel very well. During the class, the miss always explain me who are the childre, the special cases and she knows that I am interested for any thing or information that can teach. When I was in the brake, I saw that the children that of the other course remembered of me and lovingly greeted me. They are very diquiet in the brake, they played pin-pon, ran for every place and I could to hear a lot of smiles and lots of screams.

Third day, September 10th, 2009

Today in the course 4°C saw differents change between the students, they were more disquiet than the last class. There was Andrea, she has problems of attention, she didn´t work only when I neared her could finish her ejercises. My guide, Milsa, told me that I had to worry for the disquiet students because they distract to the students that yes work. The important is help the disquiet children and everybody who need my help, because in a course are lots of students. I think about the teacher, Milsa, has attitude and strong voice to pay attention of the students, I like as she teach and about the other teachears, aren´t all friendly especially a miss that when I greet she not answer me, but I don´t worry this because I know that in the future she will change with me.
Today I was alone with the students but I think that my voice isn´t strong so I have to practice and I need to have more domination with the class but the children are respectful with me.

Second day, September 04th, 2009

Today I was with the students of 4°C, they were surprised with my presence and curious because they don´t understand why I was there. When I greeted to them, I told why I was there and they understood me so a boy neared me and he gave the welcome with beautiful words very cordially, the little boy was very polite, I was surprised. Then I sat in the behind of the classroom, they always that finish of write in their books, they look me so the same boy came to me and gave a letters made for three students, I was more surprised than before, late of a moment other student gave a letter too, I was thrilled because I thought that these emotions and letters could be in the finish of the practice. During the class, I could see that the students are participable, they don´t have shame to ask, answerand read. They are litle and sometime aren´t obedient but I think that in the course has a lot of students and sometimes is difficult maintain the order.

After brake, I have to be with the course 4°B, they are more quite than the students of 4°C, they work in silence, but there are a group of disquiet children that I have to be with them to maintain the order and that they can to finish their works, I think the students´4°C are more loving than the students´4°B. During the class, I help to them with ejercises of analisys´sentences.

My first day of practice, September 03th, 2009

In this day, the school is of anniversary so there aren´t class. The teachers and students are with costume. First, I passed to teachers´room, I had a good welcome for them, after we went to classroom, I was with the students of 3 “B” because my guide, miss Milsa, had to be with her students for the activities. The miss Milsa presented me to them and they were very loving with me, anybody gave me any letters of welcome. Then I passed the list and they showed me their costumes and before go out the miss Milsa took photos for group of similar costume while I was talking with any students that approached me and showed their costumes, their costumes were beautiful there were princesses, dolls, superman, soldiers, gladiator, gipsys, witches, etc. Everybody were lucky and with much energy to play. After we went to gymnasium, there were a lot of games, all the courses had a game and sweets, for example hit with a ball to jars, other game that there was angle, one couse painted to children, run with sack, etc. The teacher participated in musical chair, it was very funny, they were happy and beautiful with their costumes, well, only I didn´t have costume, sniff!
I think about the activities were interesting and very funny to children, it was as a diversion park. I was with two girls, they wanted to that I accompany them and that I help with the games. They were loving with me and I felt very well in the first practice day.
